Adoption information
I've been adopted!
About King Red adoption pending!
Are you looking for a new best mate? Someone young and exuberant, full of enthusiasm for life who has lots of love to give? That's me! Me me me! I'm Red, although I'm a very special boy so I'm known as King Red.
My owner didn't want me anymore so they dumped me at the pound - can you believe that?!
There are lots of really great things about me, although I think the best one of all is just how gosh darn HAPPY I am all the time. No matter how rough your day has been, if you are welcomed home by my amazing ear-to-ear grin, all your troubles will melt away. I love to be with you and get pats and cuddles. I am 100% house-trained, I travel really well in the car and I have some basic manners like sitting down. Everyone tells me I am super smart so I will learn other commands and tricks easily.
Oh I am also really excellent with other dogs both male and female. I am very full-on so if I was adopted to a home with another dog they would need to be able to keep up with me. I have had some experience with kids and I am very social with them, though again I am quite boisterous so will need kids who are okay with this.
As a young dog with the genetics of a working dog, my new family will need to understand that I have lots and lots of energy and if you don't do things with me to use it up, I might go a bit crazy. In my dream home I would be walked every day with regular trips to the park, dog beach or similar. I haven't been walked much so I still need some work on the lead but like I said, I learn really quick.
I am an awesome little guy, a real all-rounder. If you think I could be your perfect little mate don't delay, get in touch today!
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
