About Ryder ~ 5mo Kelpie X boy (On Trial 8/12/16)
Ryder is a handsome 5 month old kelpie X boy. His main mission in life is to win over everyone he meets, and he does it so well. Ryder LOVES cuddles and can’t wait to be your best friend for life.
Enthusiastic Ryder loves to run and play, so his ideal home has a nice grassy yard where he can chase a ball then laze around in the sun. He is a very quick learner who would excel at puppy training school. He has mastered sit, come, and is learning stay. Ryder loves walks with his harness, and automatically sits before crossing the road. He is a curious pup who loves exploring the world, so he would be best suited to an active family to go adventuring with.
This little guy LOVES being around people. All he wants is to snuggle up with you and be part of the family. He is toilet trained, and apart from giving too many kisses and his love for chewing, he is well behaved. Having lots of toys to keep him busy is a good idea. Ryder has been known to bark at a passing truck, but is not a nuisance barker. Once he knows the rules in his new home he’ll be the best companion ever. He sleeps inside, but loves the outdoors and is happy to do his own thing outside during the day.
Ryder loves everyone he meets, including other dogs, but would be happy to be the only pup in his home (more attention for him!). His ideal owner(s) would be active and willing to make Ryder a key family member.
For more information or to meet Ryder, please contact his foster mum Joss on 0431 289 285 or email josswbrown@gmail.com. Ryder is in foster care in Speers Point, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Ryder's adoption fee is $450 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
