About Lily
**UPDATE**
YAAAYY! It looks like I don't need surgery, but I'm on some medication to help me with my pee problem! Hopefully, that should be fixed in no time!
Also, the people at SRV have found that I'm possessive of my food and toys, so will need training and attention to this issue if you adopt me.
Hi, my name’s Lily, and I need a very special family, because I’m special needs.
I have a suspected cerebellar abnormality, which affects the way I walk and run. I don’t fall down or anything like that, I’m just a bit wobbly, and the vet doesn’t think I will get any worse. The vet thinks this could be due to me being neglected. Also, when I get excited, I wet myself… the vet doesn’t know if I’ll grow out of that, it’s a bit embarrassing! I’ve had a bit of a rough time in my short life, but I’m looking forward to finding a new family who will love me and look after me properly!
I’m a happy little girl and I absolutely LOVE attention and love and cuddles. I’m a little bit excitable at the moment, because I’m not used to getting too much attention, but I’ll get better with obedience training and as I get older.
Adoption details
If you think you can offer me a forever home please go to
http://www.staffordrescuevictoria.org.au/index.php/adoption-forms-6
and fill out the Adoption Request Form. You will receive an email acknowledgement within 3 days. If you do not receive any further contact after this please do not be discouraged. It just means that a suitable application was received before yours. We encourage you to contact Tammy at SRVAdoptions@hotmail.com every week to show you are still interested in adopting. As we will already have your form on file it will fast track the process when a suitable dog does become available.
Adopt one of our dogs and we are there for you for the rest of the dog's life. If you find you and the dog are not suited it is a condition of sale that the dog comes back to Stafford Rescue.
