About Violet
Introducing Violet (D28954) the 14 old female Kelpie x Border Collie. Vi as her foster carer lovingly calls her, is a busy and intelligent girl that needs a home to exercise her mind and body. Vi is showing the traits of a working breed needing exercise and something to keep her mind active.
Vi can be a little unsure in new environments but soon builds her confidence. Violet gave birth and raised 8 beautiful pups and she was a great mum although very puppy like herself. Vi's pups have all found homes and now it is her turn.
Vi has been found to be good with other dogs in foster care and has met a confident "dog proof" cat and was unphased by this. If a cat ran it is likely she will chase it.
Vi is very puppy like and loves to play with toys, she is toilet trained and will make a fantastic family pet.
Violet costs $400 to adopt and this helps to cover some of her veterinary treatment as she comes desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. If adopted within Horsham Rural City Council this also covers the remainder of the registration year.
