Comet

Comet is an 11-month-old Great Dane x. He is a beautiful big boy that loves getting a pat and is very gentle.

Comet knows some basic commands and is always on his best behaviour when you are around. He walks nicely on the lead and will sit at roads if asked. He is so eager to please and loves his food, he has been responding well to positive training methods.

So far Comet's only interaction with other dogs since being in foster care has been whilst out on walks, he's keen to get to meet them. Comet is unknown around cats.

He has met some younger children on our walks and has enjoyed the attention. However, he is unaware of his size and may knock smaller children with his tail.

We let him inside with us when we are home and he is outside during the day when at work. Comet currently sleeps on his bed inside at night.

Comet needs a consistent owner that would give him daily walks, as well as providing ongoing training to help him learn boundaries. His forever home will require a nice yard, secure fencing and adequate shelter. He is very people oriented and would be suited in a home where he gets plenty of pats.
