About Duke
Duke is a small charismatic little guy who is good with other dogs and tolerant of felines. He was surrendered into care with his sister Chloe but is up for adoption separately from her ONLY. He is a small little guy, and has shown to be loving and caring to all people he has met. He can be a little shy but this may be due to a previous abusive background, but he isn't one to flee or hide. Just get a little shy but this can be easily handled with just some extra love and affection.
Duke would love a home where he is inside more than not, and maybe with another doggie friend for company. We would recommend due to being so small, that a home with kids over 7 is most suitable as he is very fragile being only a small frail little guy. He is in foster care with both small, and large sized dogs and is friendly with all.
He may suit a home with cats, but a home without chickens and pocket pets is best suited as he seems to be a little too curious of these. Safe and secure fencing, especially free of gaps and holes is a MUST and of at least 4ft is recommended. A home that can continue his socialisation is essential, and one that can provide a stable environment for him is essential as well.
Duke is located on the central coast at Morisset and his adoption fee is $400.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
