About Elvis
Elvis is a 7 month old Kelpie Cross puppy. He is full of personality and loves nothing more than someone to play with. His favorite games are 'peek-a-boo', chasey and tug of war. He enjoys any activities his foster family have in store for him.
Elvis shows no fear of water and is very friendly with other dogs. He is currently in a foster home with small children, and besides stealing the occasional kids toy (waiting for someone to chase him) he is very gentle with the kids.
Elvis would suit a home with anyone willing to spend time with him. He would be comfortable in a house with or without dogs. His new family would need to dedicate time to training Elvis as being a young puppy he still has plenty to learn. He is toilet trained.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
