About Blue ~ Cattle x (On Trial 11/2/17)
Introducing the handsome Blue! Blue is a 18 month old, male, Cattle X. Blue came into care from the pound and can be a little timid when meeting people and other dogs for the first time. Blue is currently in foster care with 3 other dogs and gets along well with them.
Blue understands basic commands like sit. Blue would love for his furever family to continue his training as he is a very smart dog and picks things up quickly. Since coming into foster care Blue’s foster parents have been working on his house training, he has learnt very quickly with no more accidents in the house.
Blue is very affectionate, although due to his size his foster parents would recommend older children or children who have experience with larger dogs.
Blue would love to go to a furever home where he has another play mate to keep him company; although he isn’t a huge fan of small fluffy dogs.
Blue is quiet happy to be outside during the day and sleeps inside at night. Blue will need a secure yard with high fencing.
Blue would make the perfect addition to any family.
For more information or to meet Blue please email foster carer Amy via email amyeh34@hotmail.com. Blue is in foster care in Pelaw Main, NSW (near Kurri Kurri) and is available for adoption interstate.
Blue’s $350 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
