About Zia
Here is little Miss Independent!
Zia is a playful, adorable and inquisitive puppy. She enjoys exploring the yard and chewing on soft toys, and is happy to do her own thing. The other side of Zia is that she absolutely loves cuddles with her people. She goes all floppy at nap time and is more than happy to curl up with you, especially if there is room on the lounge. Zia likes being held and carried around but this won’t happen for long as she is going to be a big girl!
Zia gets along very well with other dogs and really enjoys wrestling games. She would do well with another similarly playful dog or benefit from frequent trips to the dog park/beach where she can rumble away with friends. Zia is currently in care with one of her siblings and some other large dogs. She is also living with some cats which she is very good with and doesn’t chase.
She is a clever little puppy, and has figured out how to use the doggy door all by herself with no help or encouragement at all! Zia will also take herself off to her crate when she is ready for a nap and knows that she isn’t supposed to wee on her blankets. We are still working on our house training but she is getting there. Puppy school and ongoing training will be a must for Zia as she will still have lots to learn as she grows up. She will also require daily exercise to keep her healthy and happy.
We are looking for a home where Zia will be a part of the family and included in daily activities. She will require another suitable doggy companion and/or someone who is home more often than not. Zia should be allowed inside the home to be with the family and will require a warm comfy bed to sleep on inside at night.
She will be a wonderful addition to the family that adopts her!

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
