About Okal
They say great things come in small packages!
Okal may be the smallest of his litter but he is cute and full of life. He enjoys interacting and playing with people that he meets. Okal likes to play with toys, including balls and soft toys, and enjoys exploring the yard. When it’s time for a nap, Okal will be more than happy to curl up in your lap or on the lounge with you for some cuddle time. He also enjoys meeting new people and greets them with a waggy tail and some kisses.
During his time in care Okal has been well socialised with a range of dogs both big and small. He has been fostered with some of his siblings and other puppies. Okal loves to play with other dogs and has been known to play bow and jump around in front of other dogs inviting them to play even if they are way bigger than him! Of course he still doesn’t like it if they are too rough and squish him but he will definitely be the type of dog who would love to visit the dog park/beach on a regular occurrence.
Okal has already begun basic training and is taking to it well. He is food motivated without being obsessed with it and this makes training pretty easy. Okal can already sit for a treat, walk nicely on a lead, follow his foster carer around off lead and is learning to come when called. His new family must be committed to continuing his training as he is still very young and will have lots more to learn in life.
We are looking for a home where Okal will be a part of the family and included in the daily activities. He will require a doggy companion and/or someone home more often than not to ensure that he gets the attention that he deserves. Okal should be allowed inside the home to be with the family and will require a warm comfy bed to sleep on at night inside out of the weather. We believe that Okal will be good with children who are able to be mindful how to be gentle with a young puppy and with the appropriate training he should be fine to live with other animals.
If you would like to make this cutie a part of your family then let us know.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
