About Abigail
Introducing Abigail. This super cuddly girl is a 2 and a half year old AmStaff. She is looking for a very special family who will look through the rough and see the diamond that she really is.
Abigail has had a bit of a rough trot in her short life so far and is very excited to find her forever home very soon.
As you can see from the photos, she has some lumps on her pretty little head. We have had these lumps tested and the vet has diagnosed them as being follicular cysts. These cysts are non cancerous and there is no ongoing vet treatment required. However, she would like to have some warm compresses placed on them at times. This helps ease any swelling and also gives her an excuse to cuddle up to you!
We are unsure of Abigail's history as she was saved from death row at another pound, however we believe she hasn't had a very pleasant life and perhaps because of her past, she isn't sociable with other dogs or cats.
She shows now signs of food aggression and loves loves loves human attention, She is a super cuddly girl, who will lap up all the human attention and love she can get! She does like to be out and about and through her excitement can pull a little on her lead to begin with. She soon settles and is happy to run or walk with you - whichever you prefer!
Abigail is looking for her forever home where she can be included as part of the family and involved in day to day activities. This baby girl truly is a sweetheart and deserves to find a home where she can receive as much love as she is willing to give.
Abigail's adoption fee is $350 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Abigail is also regularly treated for flea and worms.

Adoption details
Please phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire. This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
