About Diesel
A very special boy is looking for a very special home. Please meet Diesel … This young lad is an 18 month old pit bull. You know all those bad stories that you hear about pit bulls? Diesel we are proud to say isn't one of them.
We envisage that Diesel will be in a home as an only dog as he can be selective with his doggie friends. As he doesn't know his strength, children under 5 would need to be supervised around him when walking and playing.
Diesel shows no signs of food aggression and we are very proud to say that he has passed all assessments required for him to be a family pet.
He is a very playful boy and once he gets to know you he is a big teddy bear who wants to cuddle and play all the time. Diesel has had the freedom of the facility before and after opening hours and is very happy to sit with you while you are working and loves to bring you items (such as blankets) which you may or may not need – however he has proven himself to be very helpful (in his own way).
The bull breeds – especially pit bulls are often grossly misunderstood and as a result the pit bull has gained a reputation over recent years for being dangerous. While we will be selective over the home that Diesel will go to, we can confirm, as can his assessment, that he is not a dangerous boy – but more a snuggle bug and a great companion.
Once you meet Diesel, you will see his zest for life and love to be involved in everything going on around him. While he may take some time to warm up to you, once he has decided that you are his friend, he will love you forever.
Diesel is looking for his forever home where he can be included as part of the day to day activities of the family. He will need to be an only dog and he will require his daily exercise and secure fencing.
Due to the bad reputation that his breed has (and because he is so special to all of us at the facility), there will be extensive background checks and adoption procedures for this beautiful boy to ensure his safety and well being.
Diesel's adoption fee is $350 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Diesel is also regularly treated for flea and worms.
To enquire more or to meet Diesel, please email ccacfadoptions@gmail.com, drop in to the facility or call 02 43044350 and speak to one of our friendly staff.
Diesel is looking forward to meeting you
Adoption details
Please phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire. This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
