About Poppy
Poppy is honestly 80% legs and 20% body. She has a sweet and clumsy nature and has an extra fun cheeky side as well. Since being in foster care, Poppy has been socialised with many different types of dogs including young puppies, seniors and large adults and she has been social and friendly to all. She has met some cats whilst in care and was curious as to what they were but showed no aggression or drive to chase or hurt them.
Poppy is going to be a large girl, very long and lanky when fully grown we would expect so a household that understands her potential size is essential. She would suit a household as an only dog or with another friendly and social dog or maybe a household with some young kids or cats. She wouldn't be fussed with either. She has also met livestock since being in care and wasn't interested in them at all.
Safe and secure fencing in her new house is essential, but we will consider rural fencing as well. A household that can continue her exercise and socialisation is essential as well so she can continue being a good doggie citizen.
Poppy is located in the hunter region near Gresford NSW and her adoption fee is $400.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
