About Otis
Please meet Otis ... the 4 year old Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog. Otis is very excited to find his perfect forever home. However that home will be with a very special family, as Otis is deaf.
Otis is looking for that special family who will be patient and understanding of his disability and who is willing to learn and to teach him commands using sign language. He is a very intelligent boy who already knows the commands for "sit"and "come".
This gorgeous boy shows no signs of food aggression and while he shows no signs of aggression towards other dogs, due to his inability to hear, he can be quite wary of them. A proper introduction to any pets already in the family home will be required, although he does settle once he feels comfortable.
Otis is a super affectionate boy who loves the company of his human friends. He can be a little unsure when walking on lead, however, when off lead he will stay very close to you so that he doesn't lose you.
Otis is a fun loving guy, who just like all dogs, loves a cuddle and a belly rub.
Due to his disability, Otis does have special required and his perfect forever home would be one where he is included as part of the family and involved in day to day activities. Otis will require access to both inside and outside of the home, at least until he is settled into his new families routine.
Otis's adoption fee is $350 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Otis is also regularly treated for flea and worms.
To enquire more or to meet Otis, please email ccacfadoptions@gmail.com, drop in to the facility or call 02 43044350 and speak to one of our friendly staff.
Otis is looking forward to meeting you.

Adoption details
Please phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire. This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
