About Roxy (Child/Dog Friendly)
Meet Roxy a loveable Pug x Cavalier Kings Charles Spaniel female of 18 months of age.
Roxy is in foster care in a family environment with children, and other dogs. Roxy was surrendered to Wally's Doggie Rescue for separation anxiety and said to be barking and howling when left alone. We are yet to experience this in foster care, and suspect that Roxy just needed another play mate.
Roxy is INSIDE TOILET TRAINED and a little overweight. She is enjoying daily walks and is learning some basic obedience. Roxy has not had much outside exposure, and is cautious around new surroundings. She is currently living with 3 cats, but does like to chase them and bark. So best to be homed without CATS. NOT pocket PET TESTED.
Roxy would suit a loving family environment where she is a large part of the family, can sleep inside and have access to outside the home and someone home most of the time AND OR a doggie companion.
To kickstart the pup/dogs training, Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 FREE dog training sessions

Adoption details
Wally's Doggie Rescue offers a 2 week trial period to ALL pups/dogs adopted by us. We give ongoing support to our adopters through a CLOSED FACEBOOK page where you can ask training questions, share your photos and chat to other people who have adopted a Wally's Doggie rescue animal. Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they are part of the family. This is particulary so if they are to be an only dog.
When enquiring about ROXY, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home (rental agreement to be sited), what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you. Wally's Doggie Rescue would also arrange a yard check of your property or have photos/videos sent of your yard, to ensure it is fully fenced and adequate shelter is provided.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
