About Charlie ~ 2yo Foxy x girl (On Trial 14/12/16)
Charlie is a sweet 2 year old fox terrier x girl. She is a loving dog whose favourite things are playing, snuggling and giving kisses. She also loves to go for walks, though needs to be on a lead as she likes to run and explore, but she will eventually come back.
Charlie is great with kids. She is good with other dogs - she does get a little jealous sometimes, but she is never aggressive. We are not sure how she is with cats or pocket pets.
Charlie is easy to feed as she will eat just about anything - she loves her chicken with rice and vegies and she really loves her chicken necks and liver treats.
Charlie is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside. She loves to sleep with you, but is also happy to sleep in her bed. She is not fully house trained, but is getting better.
Charlie doesn't like to spend a lot of time alone and would prefer a home where someone is home a lot or she has a friend to play with. She can be wary of new people and will bark at them at times.
Charlie is hoping to find a wonderful forever home with a loving family who will continue her training and give her lots of cuddles.
For more information or to meet Charlie, please contact Nicole by phone 0414 765 804 or email at nsharkey73@hotmail.com. Charlie is in foster care in Wallsend, NSW (Newcastle area) and is available for adoption interstate.
Charlie's adoption fee is $450 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
