About Bud
Bud has had a chequed career. He spent his formative years with a family and was the son's dog. when he left home he wanted to take his dog with him and did at first. then he had trouble finding finding accommodation so left with a friend. Anyway due to a number of issues the friend could not keep him and the old owner could not have him back so to Happy Paws Haven he came. He is a lovely dog who gets on with other dogs and humans. he is a little over weight but with regular exercise that will soon melt away. He loves to play and will put his mouth round your hand gently for attention and a cuddle. He would be a great companion dog or family dog. He is now desexed, vaccinated, micro-chipped and ready for his new home.
Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, \ fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
