My name is Cleo, and I am as close to perfect as a dog could get.

I was left to die in a rural pound, and rescued by the OTC team. It was apparent almost immediately just how incredible I am. My fosters fell in love instantly. Not only do I have a kind face with pretty, deep chocolate brindle colours, I am a quiet, affectionate and obedient girl. Nobody knows what happened that I was left in the pound, but I do know whoever it was must miss me as I am 100% amazing.

I get along GREAT with other dogs. I have fantastic manners and enjoy playing, relaxing and sharing my humans with them. I am a great inside dog, I am clean, quiet and gentle. Generally my foster carers don't let me up on the couch, bed etc-as they know most homes won't want a dog my size on the furniture. I am respectful of this rule and don't mind one bit. I am perfectly happy to lay on the floor next to you. I have a calming, loving presence.

Being cattle x arab you would expect me to be high energy - but so far I have not shown any signs of distress with being unable to be walked/run etc. I am still in 'quarantine' as I only just received my vaccinations. Despite the fact I haven't left the foster carer's yard except for vet trips -I have not complained or broken things/dug holes once! For my long term health and balance, like any dog I will of course require exercise when I'm in my forever home (eg walks, dog park etc)- but it's probably nice for my humans to know that I'm not the destructive type should I miss a day due to rain etc.

I will be available to meet and be adopted on December 4th, 2016 at Amaroo Pet in Toowoomba, 4350. OTC are having an adoption day and I will have just passed my quarantine period and can come and see the world! I can't wait to meet you!

I have not yet been tested with children and cats- this will happen in the coming days.
