About Daisy ~ 1yo Kelpie X girl (On Trial 10/5/17)
Daisy is a beautiful, tan coloured kelpie x girl and she is about one year old.
Daisy is very sweet but she can also be a little bit cheeky. Ongoing training would be very beneficial as she is intelligent, quick to learn and has lots of energy. At present Daisy will sit, shake hands and wait for the OK to eat.
Daisy loves going for walks, swims and car rides. Her best mate is my dog, Roco - they love a game of chase, tug of war and wrestling. Daisy loves people and likes other dogs but would not be suitable with pocket pets.
Daisy sleeps outside but comes inside while I am home and wherever I go she likes to tag along (currently lying at my feet). I would not say that she is housetrained but there have been no accidents. There was a bit of a storm the other night, but she did not seem too fazed sitting inside with everyone.
Unless someone is home most of the day I feel Daisy would be better suited to a person or family with another dog for company. Daisy is a happy and healthy dog with lots of love to give.
For more information or to meet Daisy, please contact her foster carer Jill on 0422 124 717
or email jd-marchant@hotmail.com. Daisy is in foster care in Tanilba Bay, NSW (north of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
daisy's adoption fee is $400 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
