About Bailey (Dog Friendly)
Hello! My name is Bailey.
My foster Mum thinks that I am part Meerkat and part fox, but I am just a really sweet, loving natured boy.
I am the happiest boy you will ever meet. If you are having a bad day, I know just the trick to cheer you up; I can do a happy dance for you until you smile. I am currently living with three big dogs, whom I love dearly. My foster siblings are teaching me all about being confident and how to do loads of doggy behaviours. My foster Mum says that it is really important for me to be social with other dogs, and I am ok with that, but when I first meet a new furry friend, I may be a little stand-off-ish. I will make sure that they are safe before I begin to play. It doesn't take me long at all to warm up to my friends though.
I have been in care for a few weeks now (I had this thing called Cherry eye, but the good people at Wally's took care of that for me, and now I am in the clear), and my foster Mum says that I amaze her daily. We went to the beach, and I showed my foster family how much I liked to run after a ball, say hello to all my furry friends AND I even went swimming! She was so proud. When I arrived into care, I tried to pretend that I just like to sit on laps (which I LOVE!), but I couldn't hide my true colours for long. I showed Mum that I was just like the big dogs and I like to do doggy things. I really enjoy my daily walks and going on adventures. I may ask you to pick me up if I am unsure of something, but it is best for me to continue to develop my confidence and help me to be as independent as possible. While I enjoy the company of other dogs, I would be ok to live with fellow humans.
I walk BEAUTIFULLY on a lead, and I am FULLY toilet trained. I have excellent RECALL, I am easy going and sleep through the night. The only thing my foster Mum says that resembles a small dog, is that I have well developed taste buds; I enjoy fine foods like fish and chicken. I just like fine cuisine!
I have three free sessions with Wyong dog club which I would love to go to. It will help you and I bond, but will also help teach me basic obidence.
I really look forward to meeting you soon and making your day!
With love,
Bailey.

Adoption details
Wally's Doggie Rescue offers a 2 week trial period to ALL pups/dogs adopted by us. We give ongoing support to our adopters through a CLOSED FACEBOOK page where you can ask training questions, share your photos and chat to other people who have adopted a Wally's Doggie rescue animal. Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they are part of the family. This is particulary so if they are to be an only dog.
When enquiring about BAILEY, please give us some indication of the type of home that he would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home (rental agreement to be sited), what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you. Wally's Doggie Rescue would also arrange a yard check of your property or have photos/videos sent of your yard, to ensure it is fully fenced and adequate shelter is provided.
