About Laika
Introducing the lovable Laika. This gorgeous girl is a one and half year old German Shorthaired Pointer.
Laika is a very friendly young lady and gets along great with all of her 4 legged friends. She can be a little shy when first meeting new 2 legged friends, however she warms up to you very quickly and loves a good belly scratch and cuddle.
She enjoys getting out and about and exploring the world, although she can pull a little on the lead. We believe as she is still young and with continued, patient training this will improve.
Laika shows no signs of food aggression, however she may suffer a little seperation anxiety and doesn't like to be left alone for long periods. If she was rehomed with another dog, we believe she would be fine. However, if she is to be an only pet, she would need a new home where she isn't left alone for long periods on her own. This trait is quite common for her breed.
As she is still very young and with her desire to please, training should be fairly easy for her. Her breed are not known to be stubborn and are known to learn new things easily.
Laika is looking for her forever home where she will be able to receive daily exercise and be involved as part of the family's day to day activities. This beautiful girl has a gorgeous nature and would make a great new addition to any family.
Laika's adoption fee is $350 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Laika is also regularly treated for flea and worms.

Adoption details
Please phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire. This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
