Pepper ~ Jack Russell x Cattle (On Trial 18/11/16)

Introducing Pepper-Pots, or Pepper for short, a gorgeous 12 week old female Jack Russell X Cattle Dog, but size wise, more of a JRT. Pepper is a loving, loyal bundle of fun, while incredibly cheeky she is the instigator of many smiles in our house, she leaps and bounds when she greets you and her tail goes so fast she gets the bottom wiggles too!

Pepper currently lives with two German Shepherds, her fur foster brother and sister who love her dearly, she keeps them on their toes and very much loves to be involved in active play.( I just emerged from writing this to my partner in stitches watching her have a ride across the deck holding onto the tail fur of her foster brother, in a fun little sister manner of course)

Pepper loves to be indoors and snuggle on the lounge, by your feet or in the bed! I have caught her curled up on the rug in front of the fire in the past so would most certainly not say no to her being a tad pampered. Pepper is currently coming to her name when called, and sits and waits patiently when her food is being prepared and bought to her ( we are in process of having her wait until a command to eat).

Pepper enjoys a game of fetch, scurrying as fast as she can to catch up with her big mates when a toy is thrown and will chase and play for hours.

Pepper has enjoyed the company of a 3yr old and 8 year old girls during a visit to our home and she loved it, so I feel she will take to a family with children well!

Pepper would be suited to many families so long as they have the time and energy for her, I'm sure she would love a fur family as well after seeing her bond so well with her foster fur family and I feel that children would keep her well entertained and loved. However I feel that any family that Pepper joins will see the enrichment and joy she will provide and I hope that they will respond in an appreciative and respectful manner to her. I feel that Pepper is a very social dog and will really crave the attention she deserves from her family.

Pepper has not been tested with cats or pocket pets, however with correct introductions I feel she will be fine.

We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.

It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Pepper. If you don't have another dog to keep her company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time.

As Pepper is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast, Hunter Valley and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 5 months old
