About Gem
Please meet the very cuddly Gem. This pretty girl is a 6 year old Belgian shepherd. This graceful girl possesses a lot of the Belgian Shepherd characteristics. She is very intelligent and extremely affectionate and is very excited about finding her forever home.
Gem did not get along very well with smaller dogs, however seems fine with dogs her own size. She loves to play fetch and will gently drop the ball at your feet when bringing it back ready to play again.
She shows no signs of food aggression and seems happy to be left on her own. Gem enjoys getting out and about in the world and has very nice manners on the lead. She is very gentle and doesn't pull at all.
Gem can be a little timid when first meeting new people, but does settle easily and then can't wait for some cuddles.
As she is a very intelligent girl and loves to please people, she would benefit from some further patient training. Gem is a Groenendael Belgian Shepherd and this variety of the Belgian Shepherd are known to have a softer temperament than the other 3 varieties. However, due to her intelligence, she can be trained to do almost anything.
Gem is looking for her forever home where she can be included as part of the family and can be involved in day to day activities.
Gem's adoption fee is $350 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Gem is also regularly treated for flea and worms.
To enquire more or to meet Gem, please email ccacfadoptions@gmail.com, drop in to the facility or call 02 43044350 and speak to one of our friendly staff.
Gem is looking forward to meeting you.
Adoption details
Please phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire. This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
