About Toby
Toby was found on a rural property. He has shown signs that he is a working dog as he was interested in keeping an eye on some cattle at the property. (No aggression). Toby would suit a active family or a person that lives on a larger block or property.
Handling: This boy loved the handling and the attention. He was quite engaged with both the ranger and the handler and very pleased to be out in the fresh air with a chance to meet and greet and enjoy life.
Health: He seems in good health.
Training: He definitely knows Sit and drop and offered both readily in return for treats. Due to this focus he should be a dream to train into all manner of activities.
Walking on lead: He did not walk particularly well on lead but although interested in the wider world checked in with handler and responded well to correction and changes of direction.
Ball/toy focus: He was very interested in the ball though no sign of prior experience with the fetch concept he did run after it to pick it up.
Dog to dog: He was very keen to meet Che (a black greyhound) and when they did meet he was quite forward but did meet appropriately and politely.

Adoption details
The adoption process at the Companion Animal Facility is relatively easy. Once you have decided on which future pet you would like to adopt from the facility, all that is required by you is to make a payment at the Companion Animal Facility by either cash, cheque or eftpos, provide details for the microchip and registration paperwork and then pick up your future pet from the Council veterinary service provider once they have been de-sexed and vaccinated (Council staff will advise you when the animal is booked in at the veterinary clinic. This usually falls within 14 days of the purchase).
The following are the re-homing fees for dogs and cats,
Entire Dog - $260.00
De-sexed Dog - $160.00
Entire Cat - $180.00
De-sexed Cat - $110.00
The following is included with all sales,
Microchipping (identification details will be placed on the NSW Companion Animal Register)
Lifetime Registration (within NSW)
Vaccination
Worm Treatment
Vet Check
De-sexing (if required)
Please Note: All dogs and cats rescued from the Companion Animal Facility are required to be de-sexed. Dogs and cats will not be sold as entire under any circumstances.
The Companion Animal Facility is open during the following hours if you would like to view the dog or cat in person,
Monday - Friday
8:00am - 9:00am
12:30pm - 1:30pm
4:00pm - 4:30pm
Saturday
8:30am - 9:30am
Please Note: The Goulburn Mulwaree Council Companion Animal Facility is closed on Sundays and all public holidays.
