Adoption details
In order to adopt bunny, we take the time to talk to you about your expectations & have you fill in your details on an adoption form.
once we have determined that you are able to look after the bunny & provide a safe home, the adoption fee is paid & we either bond the new bunny with your bunny or you take your new family member home!
Adopting a rabbit is a serious commitment. While incredibly rewarding, rabbit ownership and care can be costly e.g. food and vet bills and time consuming cleaning hutches and spending time with your bunny.
Rabbit are cute but are not really suitable for children under 8 yrs old, therefore “you” the parent is the person responsible for the rabbit’s welfare & wellbeing until the child reaches adulthood.
It is unacceptable to refuse to take an animal to the Vet should it need veterinary attention, in-fact it is neglect, so if you don’t want to face the possibility of hefty Vet bills,
DO NOT ADOPT A RABBIT.
Should you find yourself in a position of financial difficulty please contact me for advise immediately.
Saying “it’s just a rabbit” is NOT ACCEPTABLE. It is a family pet & therefore a member of your family.
