Lovely Asami is a sweet girl that has been through so much despite her young age.

Asami was surrendered to the shelter while heavily pregnant and incredibly skinny, she found herself in a new strange noisy place about to give birth. She was understandably under a lot of stress that caused her to go in early labour. She gave birth to 6 beautiful but extremely small kittens and from the start it was clear that we were at the start of a bumpy ride.

Asami was struggling feeding 6 kittens due to her poor health and young age, she was emaciated and had a lungs infection that was treated with antibiotics. Despite all the efforts from her and her foster family we lost 3 babies due to congenital problems.

Since then Asami has been an awesome mother and a loyal companion, she is a beautiful girl and really loves human company. She isn't fond of dogs as she is protective towards her babies, but she is slowly getting used to them. We think that with the proper introduction and patience she will get used to calm dogs.

Asami’s trust in people is amazing considering her past, she has a sweet nature and just wants to be with her humans and get cuddles. She would need a family that is home often as she doesn't like being alone.
