Kane is a fun loving dog who would suit an active family. Estimated around 2 years of age, he likes to fill his day with lots of play and lots of sleep. A good walk each morning sees his daily needs met and then he’s happy to play with toys or with other dogs if there’s some available in the household. He’s garden friendly and shows no propensity to dig. He loves to swim, and buy him a $10 plastic children’s paddling pool and he’ll be the happiest canine on the block!

There’s no denying Kane is a good looking boy. He is a Labrador cross and stands a little shorter than the average lab, and a little stockier. He has a lovely white chest which is a nice contrast to his luxurious black coat. He has energy chocolate coloured eyes which look into yours gratefully when you cuddle him. Having spent months in an animal shelter, he loves his new found freedom and he’s eager to please his humans.

Kane is currently in foster care with three other dogs where he’s learning the correct way to play with others and all the social requirements of being part of a pack. He’s responsive to commands and now of an age he’ll mature into a good all-rounder.
