Bebe is definitely an attention grabber! With his imposing size, fluffy coat and stunning eyes, he's hard to miss and even harder to look away from. So please, admire him in all his Malamute glory. But before you think about applying to adopt this big boofa, make sure you can handle the personality he brings to back up his model good looks.

Bebe is a very large adult male and very confident in his size. True to Malamute type, he does not appreciate the company of most other dogs, especially other males. He is powerful, intelligent and stubborn. He needs an owner that understands how to get the best out of him with a consistent, balanced, mutual approach - he doesn't respond well to a heavy handed, dominant relationship and will take advantage of a household that is too permissive and soft.

Bebe has also been known to be a bit precious about his stuff. For these reasons he can only go to a new home that has Malamute experience and an understanding of training techniques or the commitment to engage a suitable trainer.

This fella has excellent lead manners and is a pleasure to walk, but without a confident, capable handler can be reactive to other dogs. He has attended basic obedience training but will need further group training classes to continue working on his manners. He thrives in this type of working environment and is a keen student.

He requires a home that can commit to daily walks to keep him fit, happy and stimulated, plus weekly brushing of his gorgeous coat. It takes a lot of effort to look this good! Due to his large size and relatively young age, he isn't suitable around young children. He's pretty chilled out for most of the time, but still has bursts of zoomies and madness a couple of times a day. Likes to dig a pit to lay down in when it's warm and will have a lap up attention and affection from you any chance he can get. He needs a fully fenced, secure yard to stretch his long legs and romp around in.
