About Baxter
This gorgeous fellow is one of a litter of five surrendered to us for rehoming from one of the Tennant Creek town camps. These little dogs have weaned naturally from their mums and spent much of their early life with littermates, lots of kids, adults and other dogs. As a result they are calm, confident, and beautifully socialised. Baxter loves being with the other dogs in foster care, and plays with all the youngsters, but accepts discipline and guidance from the senior dogs philosophically. He is friendly to humans of all ages and very responsive to direction. If Baxter understands what you want him to do, he is happy to oblige. He loves his off lead walks, and while his litter mates go off exploring, he is much more inclined to trot alongside his human. He always runs back nicely when he is called, and he is excellent on lead as well. He is well behaved in the house, and sleeps on the dog beds, but really loves cuddles and enjoys watching telly from a lap. He is exceptionally affectionate and cuddlesome, and needs someone who will love and cherish him the way he would love and cherish his special human. Baxter is a great little guy, who we expect to grow into a medium sized, light framed dog of 16- 18 kilos. Our dogs ship on direct flights from Alice Springs to capital cities. Shipping is included in his adoption fee. We will discount this fee if he is rehomed within the Territory.
