About Prudence ~ 4mo Koolie girl (On Trial 10/11/16)
Prudence is the sweetest little 4 month old Koolie girl - she loves human company and will be your shadow.
This adorable girl is very intelligent and is responding very well to our basic commands.
Being a working breed, Prudence loves to be busy - exploring the yard, playing with toys, she absolutely loves the beach and is right at home on our farm.
Prue is wonderful with every dog or puppy she meets, from the biggest to the smallest. She is friendly with chickens but would love to help put them in their pens. She has met a cat and was friendly, but barked at it as to say come play with me. She is not good with pocket pets.
This little sweet heart will need to be adopted into a family that is very active, has working dog experience or has a lot of time to put into her training and keep her mind active. Prue is very gentle with kids of all ages but will need constant supervision at all times as she is still a young puppy. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
Prue sleeps outside at night with her foster brother, but sleeps inside in cold or rainy weather. She will need access to the house at all times and will need to be included when ever possible in family activities. Prue walks well on a lead and travels very well in the car.
As Prudence is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 5 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
