About Woody ~ Jack Russell x (On Trial 23/11/16)
Meet Woody - an 11 month old male Jack Russell x who is just the most gorgeous little man.
Woody came to DRN as a private surrender who now needs a new home with a caring family who will love, comfort, walk, feed, shelter and play with him so he can feel safe and happy again.
He would suit an active family who has another dog to be his companion, because he does feel lonely when home alone. Please note that Woody is not cat friendly, unfortunately.
He enjoys the car and always ready for a ride when he hears the rattle of the keys.
He loves to have a sticky beak out the window, whilst restrained of course, to feel the breeze.
He sleeps inside at night on his comfy bed, is housetrained but still has the occasional accident.
Woody is young and very intelligent and would benefit from ongoing basic obedience training.
He has recently been vet checked, vaccinated, wormed and desexed.
Woody would suit a family with children (aged above 5yrs), a single person or a couple, who has a dog friendly yard with secure fencing.
For more information or to meet Woody, please contact his foster carer Rowena on 0423 849 408 or email rowenagmurray@gmail.com. Name is in foster care in Lambton, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Woody's adoption fee is $450 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
