About Ivy
If any kitty deserves the love it's Ivy. She's had a tough time and will need a special, quiet home with no other cats and plenty of lap time. Ivy has come into care from Campbelltown pound as a very sick kitty. She was suffering from oral tumours and an infection in her gums and throat. The tumours were tested and came back negative for cancer and other nasties. She has since had the growths cut back and the vet says they are healing well. We are still unsure what causes them and we won't know for a while whether they will grow back. For this reason Ivy will be a special needs girl and will require a patient, big hearted home.
She really is a lovely girl and will sit on your lap purring all day. She loves her scratches and loves people. She is untested with dogs and children but would probably be fine with a low energy dog or older kids who can show patience. She has never lashed out despite being in a lot of pain.
Medical notes
Ivy requires soft food as she has difficulty eating and will need an experienced home to ensur her health continues to improve.
