About Poppy
Meet Poppy, an 8 week old Kelpie x Staffordshire Bull Terrier Pup, located in foster care North Gosford, on the Central Coast.
Poppy is living in a family enviroment, with her foster sibling and a foster host dog. Poppu is described as very gentle and calm so I think would suit a family environment other dogs. Although shy at first with her foster sister, Poppy very quickly opened up and now loves to follow her around and have a play! Pocket pets: None at present. Sleeping situation: Currently sleeping in their crate and pen area.
Poppy has shown no agression when it comes to sharing her food. She does however love her food and happy to scoff it down as quickly as she can! Poppy shows no dominance with other dogs and is playful and loves to explore her surroundings. She has grown fond of her monkey soft toy which she cuddles up to with her brother at bedtime. Also loves playing chase with her foster sister. Poppy has shown no fears as such, a little shy at first introduction to her foster sister but opened up very quickly. Poppy loves cuddles from her foster carers and with her brother at nap time. She is very curious, always wandering and getting a sense of her surroundings. She is happy both around people/doggy friends but is also content in spending quiet time in her pen.
Poppy has not been introduced to the lead as yet, but does respond well when called and listens well. Poppy is learning to sit.
A Perfect home for Poppy would be a family environment with older children, as she is little shy at first but once she spends a little time with you, you will win her heart.

Adoption details
Wally's Doggie Rescue offers a 2 week trial period to ALL pups/dogs adopted by us. We give ongoing support to our adopters through a CLOSED FACEBOOK page where you can ask training questions, share your photos and chat to other people who have adopted a Wally's Doggie rescue animal. Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they are part of the family. This is particulary so if they are to be an only dog.
When enquiring about POPPY, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home (rental agreement to be sited), what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you. Wally's Doggie Rescue would also arrange a yard check of your property or have photos/videos sent of your yard, to ensure it is fully fenced and adequate shelter is provided.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
