About Buck
Meet Buck – a fun loving, affectionate little guy.
Buck is a sweetheart with a healthy helping of cheekiness thrown in. He would love a doggie playmate of similar size and energy level. He walks well on a harness and happily sleeps in the lounge room. Buck is housetrained and lets you know he needs to go outside by running to the door if it's closed. He’d do fine with a doggy door.
He has good recall and would suit a family ready and willing to continue with some obedience training – Buck is food oriented so this should be fun and rewarding. He enjoys dog toys and is rather partial to anything that squeaks. He's cheeky with his foster carer bouncing off the backs of her legs to let her know he's there and wants to play.
Buck loves snuggling with you after a busy day perhaps exploring the dog park or maybe the beach and would make a great cafe companion enjoying some attention hoping for an ear rub or two. Buck can’t resist the temptation to chase cats so it is best his new home be feline free.
Initially a little shy he doesn't take long to come out of his shell and would make a great addition to any family willing to send some love and attention his way.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you too as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
