About Leo
Meet Leo, an 8 week old Kelpie cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier DOB 07/09/2016. In foster care at North Gosford on the Central Coast.
Leo is living in a family environment with his sibling sister and a foster host dog. Leo is described as very gentle and calm, and would suit a family environment with other dogs. Leo is a very confident pup who was very excited to meet his foster sister when introduced. They were playing and wrestling in no time! Pocket pets: None at present.
Sleeping situation: Currently sleeping in their crate and pen area.
Leo has shown no agression when it comes to his food. He does however love his food and happy to scoff it down as quickly as he can! Leo has shown no dominance behaviour in care and is very playful with Poppy and his foster sister. He loves to wrestle and play chase. He has grown fond of their monkey soft toy which he cuddles up to with his sister at bedtime. Leo has shown No fears towards anything and is described as a very confident and interested in meeting new people and doggy friends. Leo loves cuddles from his foster carers and with his sister at nap time. He loves wrestling with his foster sister and is very happy both playing and having quiet time.
Leo has not been introduced to the lead and is responding to his name when called. Leo is learning to sit.
A Perfect home for Leo would be one where he has company from both humans & a doggy friend and loves cuddle you all day if he could! Would thrive in a loving and caring environment who can put the time in to train him and welcome him as part of the family.
To kickstart the pup/dogs training, Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 FREE dog training sessions
http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/. So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Leo.

Adoption details
Wally's Doggie Rescue offers a 2 week trial period to ALL pups/dogs adopted by us. We give ongoing support to our adopters through a CLOSED FACEBOOK page where you can ask training questions, share your photos and chat to other people who have adopted a Wally's Doggie rescue animal. Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they are part of the family. This is particulary so if they are to be an only dog.
When enquiring about LEO, please give us some indication of the type of home that he would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home (rental agreement to be sited), what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you. Wally's Doggie Rescue would also arrange a yard check of your property or have photos/videos sent of your yard, to ensure it is fully fenced and adequate shelter is provided.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
