Lunar is a fun-loving, playful dog who likes to be involved in what you are doing. Rides in the car, walks on lead, trips to visit family, including to a property belonging to family have been great for her. Medically, she has an overbite (common for pugs) and will need some dental work in the future. She is recovering nicely from her luxating patella surgery and her carer is happy to continue treating her when she moves to her forever home - this includes Emmett therepy and Myofascial release. Loona's anal glands will need expressing regularly to prevent them from becoming impacted. She has been treated for dry eye in the past, but we're no longer having issues with this.
She has shown some resource guarding behaviour around other dogs (triggers include furniture, food, and toys). Other than that, she loves to play... resource guarding of furniture and toys does not often happen... but something to be aware of. She loves meeting people, (including little humans) children of all ages are fine... She also loves meeting new dogs. Loona doesn't have to live with another dog but regular socialisation is going to make her a lot happier.
She showed some very light separation anxiety when she was first in care, but settled into the home environment very quickly. She is very obedient, and has had good, clear boundaries set and training.
