About Milly - Adoption Pending
Hi there I'm Milly. I am looking for a new family to love as my last owner sadly has become sick and unable to care for me anymore. Although I am a more mature girl I have a baby face and a curious, inquisitive disposition. I am shy and gentle but I love neck scratches and looong pats all the way from the top of my head to the tip of my tail.
Although I look like I am visiting from another planet I am actually not an alien but a purebred Devon Rex. We rexes are known for our short, wavy coats, adorable curly whiskers and huge expressive eyes. We are often referred to as "the poodles of the cat world" as our coats are low-shedding and usually a good choice for those with cat allergies.
I have lived my whole life with an older lady, 2 other cats and 1 dog so I am not used to too much noise or activity. I would be suited to a calm, patient, loving family who will give me time and space to settle in and show my true, beautiful self. Once I get to know you, we will be best friends in the world!
If you would like to give me a home, get in touch today. I can be adopted alone, or with one of my previous room-mates Jessie or Missy. Please be aware that I must be a fully indoor cat.
Medical notes
Rex cats are very prone to poor dental health. (Maybe it is genetic, maybe we just don't floss enough...)
I have lost a few teeth already and those I have are sadly quite stained but to avoid me having an unnecessary anaesthetic to clean them it is recommended that additional measures be taken - my adoption fee includes a bonus bag of Hills Prescription t/d food and a bottle of plaque-off to help with this.

If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
