*Please note that Alfie does take time to settle in initially. He shows anxiety at the start and then will settle down. It did not take long for him to settle in to his foster home. He has been returned within 24 hours twice due to the initial mild anxiety and we are determined to ensure the next applicants are his forever family and will work with him until he settles*

Alfie is a very unique dog. He has a lovely temperament and enjoys the company of humans, dogs and cats.

He can be a ball of energy sometimes, he loves going for walks and playing with his balls. He is very quick on is feet and he can be extremely hard to catch if you let him off the lead, so he needs to have secure fencing to keep him safe as he likes to explore. He would be best suited to someone that will be able to walk him daily and let him burn off some of his energy. He also likes his quiet time, and will snuggle up next to you on the couch.

He gets on well with other dogs and he is also unfussed by cats. He enjoys sitting next to his humans and giving them licks on the face first thing in the morning.

Alfie loves to eat and can be a bit greedy when it comes to food. He is currently house trained and sleeps well through the night.

Alfie's does not need another doggie companion as long as his humans keep him stimulated and entertained. He would make a great family pet or will fit in well to just about any environment.
