About Harlow
Meet sweet, cheeky little Harlow. What a friendly, loving little girl she is.
Harlow is currently living in a foster home with 5 other dogs (both big and small), and gets on well with all of them. She loves nothing better than a romp and play in the backyard and will happily jump into a puddle of water and roll around. Harlow would ideally be rehomed with a family that has another pooch so she has a friend to play with.
Harlow loves her humans and will greet you with a wiggling bum and a happy smile when she sees you. She loves cuddles and will happily sit on your lap for a pat, although at about 20kg she really is too big to be a lap dog, not that she realises this. Harlow loves to wrap her front paws around your neck to give you a big loving hug and kiss. Harlow is also living with 2 children aged 16 and 11 and loves them. Because she is only young she may be a bit boisterous for children under the age of 6. She has a great appetite and isn’t fussy with what she eats. She sits nicely before being given her dinner. She is toilet trained and is well behaved inside.
Harlow is currently learning how to walk on a lead and how to sit. She has picked this up very quickly and will be learning more tricks while in her foster home. We are working on her recall as she isn't the best at it. Harlow perhaps has some type of working dog breed as she is very focused and excited about chasing anything with wheels. She loves to chase motorbikes and the lawnmower and we are currently working to redirect this focus in a positive way. We believe that a family without horses would best as Harlow thought it would be fun to try and round up the neighbours ponies. Although an experienced dog owner may be able to work with her to stop her from doing this.
Because Harlow has a lot of energy a family with acreage or a large yard would be ideal for her. Alternatively a family who would walk her twice a day would also be great. Harlow can be a little stubborn sometimes so a family with a lot of doggy experience would be best, and ongoing dog training would be of great benefit.
Harlow has shown a bit too much interest in the resident cats, so a home without cats would be better for her.
We have been told that Harlow is a mastiff x but she is only about the size of a kelpie, so she is really a bit of a mystery package. She is approximately 10 months old so she will not grow much bigger than what she is currently.
Harlow will come microchipped, desexed, vaccinated, wormed and flea treated. Harlow is located in Cooranbong in Lake Macquarie of NSW and ready to greet you with a wagging tail and smile.

Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
