About Sophie
I'm all about playtime and adventures. I may not be that cute little ball of fluff you had your heart set on, but trust me, my personality makes up for that!
Currently, I'm living with 5 other dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds and I LOVE them all. Not so sure if that feeling is mutual just yet, but I'm working on it. Oh and I adore kids and humans in general. My foster mum seems to laugh at me alot and she's always smiling at me, so that has to be good, right?
Let me tell you what happened on my first day here...my foster family have this thing called a swimming pool, something I've certainly never seen before. Mum wanted to hose the paved area that day and give it a good wash, so she opened the gate into the pool area and let us all in there to check out the pool while she got to work on that. This was new territory for me and I was running and jumping all over the place. Next thing I know, I was swimming...frantically! Mum came to the rescue after hearing the splash, and once again she was laughing...me, not so much. I'm certainly in no hurry to do that again and at this point in time, prefer dry land.
My nights now consist of snuggling up on the couch with a full belly, alongside my humans and doggie friends. Life is great right now, and although I have so much still to learn, my recall is coming along great, I've learnt how to use a doggie door to let myself inside and outside and I'm fully crate trained at night. That's right, you'll have a solid night's sleep with me around.
My foster mum is still working on some basic commands with me and toilet training, but seeing as though I'm a quick learner, I know I'll have those mastered in no time.
Basically, this is what I'm looking for....first and foremost, I need a doggie friend, probably bigger than me because I love to wrestle and play chasings around the yard. An adventurous backyard with lots of places to explore would be nice, some yummy bones to chew on, toys to play with (I love balls) and of course, a loving family who will allow me to share their home, inside and out. Yes I'm a Bully mix, but most certainly the sweetest one you'll ever meet.
Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 free dog training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/ . So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and me.
Tuesday the 1st Nov is Desex day for me, which means I'll be all ready to head off to my new home the following day. I'll be hanging out in Blue Haven on the Central Coast NSW with my foster family until my new family falls in love and takes me home!

Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
