About Gizmo
We would like to introduce Gizmo.
Gizmo is a 5 year old Chinese crested hairless who has had an awful start to life, which has greatly affected his trust in people, but after being in foster care for just over 2 months he has opened up so much, Gizmo went from hiding away from the world, not trusting anyone, his tail constantly being in between his legs to now happily hanging out in the lounge room and playing with the other dogs.
Although Gizmo has made so much improvement he still has a way to go, he will need a home where he will be given a lot of time, space and patience as he is still not fully comfortable with people. Gizmo does allow you to pick him up if need be and he needs to be ushered outside and then inside again to go toilet, but this is getting better. Gizmos foster mum is able to pick him up and put him on her bed or lounge to watch TV and Gizmo settles and goes straight to sleep, when handled he loved to be petted and scratched and really seems to enjoy it.
We would love for Gizmo to have a home of his own with a playmate as he takes comfort in other dogs. Gizmo is great with dogs of all sizes and is great with cats and rabbits, he doesn’t like commotion or loud noise, so a home with children and or busy homes would not be suitable for him as this would stress him out.
Gizmo needs someone who is happy for him to just be in the home, to allow him to do what he wishes, at least until he feels more comfortable. Gizmo is a no fuss boy, he doesn’t search for attention and is happy to just laze around the house or outside in the sun, he isn’t leash trained and fears the lead so this will take a lot of time and patience to get him used to. If you would love to give Gizmo a loving furever home please contact us.
