About Mercy
Mercy is a stunning and sooky natured girl who is on the search for an understanding, patient and loving home. Mercy NEEDS a female owner or at least a female in the household who is the dominant leader.
She has shown great progress in foster care and will definitely excell in a home where she is indoors with her family and able to interact with other dogs regularly
Mercy would do great in a home with a confident and stable dog in the household that she can both interact with, snuggle with but also gain confidence with so she can understand that life isn't scary. But in foster care, she has shown to adapt very easily to a life as a very much loved only dog.
Mercy hasn't had such a great start to life and is quite timid with new people, she does adore them once she knows they're safe and friendly, but may be a little shy to come up for a first cuddle when first approached. Since being in foster care, she has been taken out and about in public; to dog parks and local dog friendly cafes, and with this her confidence with the world around her is starting to grow and expand well.
She has shown to be great on a rural property and doesn't escape rural paddock fencing. She doesn't stray from the house and is happy to stay within the boundaries. She is also good in a suburban block, she doesn't jump fencing or try and dig out either. So homes with fencing that's 4ft and over would suit her best if in a suburban lot.
Mercy is also fine with horses, cats and chickens in a coop. And hasn't shown any prey or chase drive with these. She would be better with dog savvy teenagers in her household, but has met some younger kids throughout her time and shows to interact well with them if they're kind and gentle with her.
She has shown to have good recall, good on and off leash, crate trained, toilet trained and also has some basic obedience under her belt as well.
Mercy is just sweet. That's the only way to describe her really. And adorable of course.
She is located on the central coast and her adoption fee is $350.

In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
