Princess Polly

Hi! My name is Princess Polly. I was surrendered by my owners to the shelter a little while ago, and I was scared and unhappy and didn’t eat for nearly a week. I was taken into foster care where I improved dramatically; I was eating normally again and gained some weight.
Some things that you should know about me are:
• I like to eat in the company of humans, and sometimes it takes some pats and encouragement to get me to take an interest in my food.
• I don’t like to be left by myself for too long.
• I am a bit wary of humans at first, but once I feel comfortable enough, I love to sit close to you for a cuddle, and even on your lap!
• I am very chatty! I have an adorable chirpy meow.
• I hate other cats! I would love to go to a family who has no other cats. I am curious about dogs – but not hissy – and my foster mum thinks that I’d be OK in a household with a gentle dog.
• I’m not a fan of being picked up and handled.
• I have a sweet, gentle, and engaging nature. I know how to use a litter tray, and I’m great with car rides!
