Lief

This beautiful young lady is Lief.

Lief came to us a couple of months ago with her male doggy companion and 3 adorable pups in tow.
She has done a fantastic job raising 3 beautiful pups and it is now her turn to have the opportunity of a wonderful home so she can begin the next chapter of her life.
Lief is a very caring, calm and gentle girl who is never far from her carers side. She loves to be close to her special people and will become a loving and loyal family member in no time at all.
Lief knows some basic training but will still need to be shown some patience and direction to help her understand what her new family expect from her. She aims to please and is very happy to receive praise so we believe she will try very hard to catch on quickly and please her people.
This gorgeous girl is quite big do will be looking for a home where she will have plenty of room to move. She will not be suited to a home with a courtyard.
We would love to find her a home where she will have a desexed male companion of similar size to spend her days with. She gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home. Being on her own will be quite difficult after leaving her family so we would rather her continue to have companionship from a canine friend.

Lief has not been around young children while she has been in our care and considering her size we would like to find her a home with children 5 years+ so they are less likely to be knocked over during her excitement. She is still quite young herself and does have the occassional burst of puppy enthusiasm.

At the moment Lief is spending lots of time indoors with her pups. We would like to see her offered the same opportunity in her new home so she can settle quickly and feel like an important part of her new family.
We have been working on her toilet training and she is catching on but isn't really keen on leaving her pups. Once she is in her new home we believe she will start to go outside without too many issues.

Lief has been formerly introduced to the resident cats and was very interested in them so a home with NO CATS will be necessary.

Regular outings and road trips will be great for her to explore the big wide world. She loves being in the car and travels really well. She is a little shy at first but enjoys meeting new people being out and about will be really good to help continue developing her confidence. She walks well on lead which makes taking her out a pleasure.
