About Benson
Benson is a very affectionate German Shepherd x. He is 2 years old and is waiting patiently to find his forever home where he can give as much love as he receives.
He is a beautiful boy who loves attention and cuddles. Once he gets to know you he will give just as much love as he receives.
Benson can be a little shy when he first meets you - we prefer to see this as him showing his gentlemanly side, because once he is comfortable with you, this boy is a real casanova and will definitely win your heart.
As with all pets, a proper introduction with any other dog is recommended. Benson does prefer dogs his size to play with and has made friends in the facility with dogs his size. He can be a little dominant over dogs smaller than him, however this may change in a home environment.
Benson does show some signs of seperation anxiety and would be best suited to a home where someone can spend some time with him or with a tradie or similar who could take him to work.
This young lad has had a not so great start to life - but with some tender loving care and patient direction, he will come out of his shell and be a wonderful boy.
His perfect home is one where he can be included as part of the day to day activities of the family and where he will be allowed inside as his safe place during fireworks and thunderstorms.
Benson will make a great doggie addition to any family - he just needs a patient owner who will direct him with positive reinforcement and lots of love.
Benson's adoption fee is $350 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. He is also regularly treated for flea and worms.

Bensom is looking forward to meeting you
Adoption details
Please phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire. This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
