About BJ ~ Cattle X German Shepherd (On Trial 2/11/16)
AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION: Introducing BJ, a beautiful 6 year old Cattle X German Shepherd boy.
BJ is the sweetest boy who has ended up in care to no fault of his own and is looking for the perfect family to share all his love with. He’s a gorgeous mixed breed with black round spots on his white body and a cute red face with beautiful brown eyes.
BJ would suit being in a family with another dog or on his own if someone was home often to keep him company. He would be best with older children as he can tend to be excitable and jump up (only because he wants to give you a kiss!), however we are trying to train this out of him.
He loves to go for a daily walk and loves to socialise with other dogs. His recall is fairly good and he sure knows his name when he needs to come. He won’t need a big yard, but one where he can definitely find a nice spot and curl up for a nap during the day.
BJ can be an indoor or an outdoor dog - he’s toilet trained via a doggy door. But as long as he has a nice dry warm spot outside, he will be fine.
Best thing about BJ he doesn’t bark! This is a bonus if your neighbours don’t like dogs - this one they will love and you will too!
He really is such a sweet man who just wants to be loved and share his life with you.
For more information or to meet BJ, please contact Kathleen on 0402 726 514 or email kathleen_ross@hotmail.com. BJ is in foster care in Wallsend, NSW (Newcastle area) and is available for adoption interstate.
BJ's adoption fee is $200 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
