About Arnold
Our little man Arnold originally arrived in care at 6weeks old as he had a type of swimmers syndrome.
Arnold a few months on has powered through his rehab and is just an amazingly fit young man.
Arnold is sweet and cuddly, he loves his humans and adores the children in the family.
Arnold is fantastic with cats and dogs and loves to run and play with them. He loves playing tug of war and games of chase and fetch.
Arnold has had xrays on his hips and spine to rule out any other issues. These look fantastic and it all comes down to his muscles.
Arnold will strive having hydrotherapy or swimming in a pool or beach.
Arnold does not let his condition weigh him down, don't over look him because of this. Arnold will make an amazing family member to any family that is looking for a beautiful, sweet and cuddly buddy.
Medical notes
Arnold was surrendered as he could not use his back legs. They were splayed out behind him, over months of rehab he had his legs strapped into normal position and these were changed every few days.
Arnold has done hydrotherapy and this helps a lot with his muscles. His carers have also been working hard on rotating his legs and helping them sit in position.
Adoption details

ADOPTION APPLICATION PROCESS CAN TAKE ANYWHERE FROM 24HOURS TO 7DAYS DEPENDING ON INFORMATION GIVEN, APPLICATIONS IN PROCESS, MEET & GREETS ETC.
All canines are to be met in person, with interstate adoptions an exception. We arrange a meet and greet with your family and any other pets you may have.
An adoption application will need to be completed and returned before we complete a yard check to make sure you yard is secure and fully fenced, shade and shelter suitable for your new canine.
Upon approval your adoption fee will be paid before collecting your new family member.
You will go on a 14day trial period. If at anytime in that 14 days you find you can not keep your canine, they shall be returned and you will receive a refund of your adoption fee minus $50 - Admin Fee.
If after the 14 day trial period you have decided to continue with the adoption of your canine we will send you out your adoption pack.
In this pack includes
- Desexing Paperwork
- Microchip numbers and Ownership change over
- Vaccination Passport/card - All vaccines will be up to date
- Adoption Information
- Adoption Certificate
- Receipt of payment
- Worming, Heart Worm and Flea treatment dates.
