About Sassy Aussie Bulldog
I'm a 6yo Aussie Bulldog and came into foster care with a number of health issues which have all been taken care of. I've had surgeries for Entropian and benign lump removals. I'm desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and regularly wormed. I'm feeling so much better that it's time to search for a family to spend the rest of my life with.
I'm taking applications now for people living in ACT & surrounds ...
Ideal candidates will have previous experience with my breed but preference will be given to the family who can love me the most. I'm happy to provide you with on-the-job training. Since I love people so much, I'd love a stay/work-at-home or retired family and I need at least one calm and placid fur-buddy to keep me company while the family is out of the house. I'm fairly low-maintenance just needing a grain-free diet and weekly baths to keep my skin itch-free and smelling ladylike. I love getting out and about but my preferred mode of transportation is in your car, with the window down and the wind in my fur. Gosh forbid I sweat ... oh no!
I feel my name is a bit misleading. Sassy implies that I'm cheeky and a little bit naughty but if you ask me, I'm dang near perfect. I'm social with people, absolutely love kids and house-trained of course. I'm not possessive or aggressive and just a little bit food obsessive. I'm great on or off lead and enjoy meeting other dogs and animals of all kinds, I'm curious and affectionate and have a gentle nature.
Speaking of names, can you believe my fosters call me Fatty Squishy-Face? How undignified for a lovely lady like myself. They also call me Lazy Lady but I have to admit that is kind of true.
I'm a multi-purpose kind of girl, not only will I be your best friend but I'm useful too; If you have a hole in your couch, I can hide that hole ALL day long. Do you have another dog? Do they get in your way? I'll keep them busy grooming me all day. I'm great at babysitting kids, chickens and budgies. I like a tidy house, so I can help there too and keep the floor free of all food and crumbs. I'll replace the need for a doorbell saving you money on batteries. I'll protect our home from postmen and intruders ... wait ... unless they give me scratches..in which case they are welcome.
I have a particular talent for head tilts so grab your phone, open up YouTube and start playing video's of crying puppies and air horns. I also prance and toss my head about like a pony, I've found it to be very effective in getting extra laughs and scratches.
Pro's
- My foster family love me and want to let you know that my adoption fee covers free dog-sitting if you have to go on holidays without me.
Con's
- Empty cardboard boxes beware, I will shred you when bored.
- I WILL leave fur on your couch.
- I sleep with my tongue out and snore like a freight train.
