About Blue Ivy ~ Cattle dog x (on trial 24/11/16)
Blue ivy is a beautiful, gentle 4 year old Cattle dog x . She is very affectionate, gets on well with other dogs, cats and children.
She is very good to walk on a harness, and shows no aggression of any kind. She is rather timid due to previous bad experiences, eg she is nervous when having her harness put on, but once it is on she is fine. She has a little separation anxiety, and may howl for a few minutes then settles down. Giving her a kong or a bone could help.
Blue Ivy is house trained and likes being inside with her “family “. She will need regular exercise and a daily walk, and her food intake monitored as she will eat more than she should if not watched.
This little girl would make the perfect addition to a family. All she needs is love, and to feel secure.
For more information or to meet Blue Ivy, please contact Sue on 0415 367 144 or email docman4@bigpond.com. Blue Ivy is in foster care in Windale, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Blue Ivy's adoption fee is $350 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
