I am currently Scarlett’s foster mum and, I must say… she is a gorgeous little girl. She has not had a good start to life and her story is not a happy one.
If Scarlett could tell her story it would go something like this:

Hello, my name is Scarlett. I am not sure of my exact age but I am only young. My life before being rescued was pretty awful, confined in a small cage, used for breeding and forgotten. I didn’t know what is was like to be loved, to run and play or be part of a family.
I have a big heart, for a dog my size (I am slightly taller than your average Staffy) and, despite my rough start in life I have a lot of love to give.
I love to go for walks (fast or slow) or even a run, and I am well behaved on the lead. I am smart and a fast learner…I love to please. I also enjoy a game of tug-o-war and to play ball (although I haven’t learnt to fetch yet) and, car rides.
Most of all I love to be loved and to give love and affection, and to be involved in daily family activities. I especially love cuddles.
I sometimes get a little anxious when left alone, but that’s only because I am just starting to learn that it’s only temporary. Oh! and by the way, I am quite happy to be inside as I am totally house trained.
So…if you are looking for a loyal, loving, faithful companion… I’m the girl for you! Please adopt me, and give me a “forever” home.
